Moon Township, Pa. - Due to inclement weather predicted for the Pittsburgh area this week, the Robert Morris University women's lacrosse team has moved its Wednesday season opener against Duquesne to the Rissell-Schreyer Dome on the campus of Thiel College.

Robert Morris and Duquesne will now square off indoors at 10:30 a.m., instead of the 4 p.m. start time listed on the original schedule. Although Thiel College, located in Greenville, Pa., will host the latest edition of this Allegheny County rivalry, RMU will remain the official home team. 

For directions to the Thiel campus, please visit their athletics website. Greenville is located approximately 70 miles north of the RMU campus in Moon Township and is accessible primarily via Interstate 79. 

This site change means that RMU will play its first game at Joe Walton Stadium at 1 p.m. Sunday against Cincinnati. View the Colonials' revised season schedule here.

Picked to finish third in the Northeast Conference (NEC) by league coaches, RMU seeks to follow up on last year's 11-5 record and NEC tournament berth as it begins its second decade of Division I women's lacrosse.
