Moon Township, Pa. – In conjunction with Homecoming,
to honor and celebrate the history of the
Robert Morris University volleyball program, the Colonials are set to host their second annual Alumnae Match on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2016, when RMU takes on St. Francis Brooklyn in the Sewall Center at 7 p.m.
In order to enhance the event, the RMU program invites former Colonials volleyball players to register at the alumnae table upon entrance into the match, or reach out to assistant coach
Danny Doherty via email (Doherty@rmu.edu) for more information.
Alumnae will be recognized on the court between sets two and three of the match.
Robert Morris captured its first NEC Championship title since 2003 and first under head coach
Dale Starr last November, and extended the conference's longest active streak of NEC Tournament appearances to 17. The Colonials also posted their best overall winning percentage (.594) under Starr in 2015.
