Brittany Howard of the
Robert Morris University women's hockey team was named College Hockey America (CHA) Player of the Week, announced the league Monday afternoon.
This is Howard's sixth career CHA Player of the Week honor, her third this season, and 10
th overall weekly nod from the conference.
Howard extended her point streak to four games with a goal and three assists in a weekend sweep of RIT, which keeps Robert Morris undefeated in CHA play and atop the league standings. She posted a goal and two assists in Friday's 4-3 victory. The goal marked her 100
th career point. She is the fourth Colonial in program history to reach the 100-point benchmark.
The St. Thomas, Ontario, native has recorded a point in 12 of 14 games played this season. She ranks eighth in the nation in assists per game (0.86), and is tied for fourth nationally with four power-play goals.
Howard leads the CHA in points (20), assists per game, points per game (1.43), power-play assists (six), and power-play points (10).
Robert Morris takes a pause from action this weekend, before heading to the Windjammer Tournament in Burlington, Vt., on Nov. 25 and Nov. 26.
