Moon Township, Pa. – The
Robert Morris University rowing team concluded its 2016 campaign Sunday by finishing sixth at the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Championships on Lake Windsor at Mercer County Park in West Windsor, N.J.
The Colonials finished with 31 points. Jacksonville earned its third consecutive MAAC title by compiling 56 points. Rounding out the top five were Marist (53), Drake (44), Canisius (43) and Fairfield (40). Trailing RMU was Iona (23), Stetson (20), Sacred Heart (14) and Manhattan (6).
The RMU Varsity 8 finished with a time of 7:17.290 in the Grand Finale. Serving as coxswain was junior

The Robert Morris second Varsity 8 boat finished fourth in its Grand Finale, posting a time of 7:18.471. Junior
Savanah Buhite was the coxswain, and also in the boat for the Colonials were senior
