Pittsburgh, Pa. - A weekend home series for the Robert Morris University men's hockey team against American International College will be highlighted buy a new event, opportunities to support charitable causes, and a promotional giveaway.

On Friday, the first 800 fans in attendance will receive an RMU knit cap, compliments of UPMC.

Saturday's 4:05pm game will be the first ever Arctic Foxes Night, welcoming the local youth hockey organization and its players, families and staff to the game. (Arctic Foxes members wishing to attend should see their coaching staff for details.)

The Colonials student-athletes are actively involved in volunteering at coaches with the organization throughout their time at Robert Morris. Senior defenseman Robert Powers sought out a way to get the two clubs more involved with each other and worked with RMU's staff to help organize the event.

Beyond having the Arctic Foxes in attendance, the Colonials will also be participating in a team autograph session following the game. We ask that anyone who wishes to participate in the autograph session bring a non-perishable food item. RMU will be collecting the items to donate to the West Hills Food Pantry, located in Moon Township, Pa.

Saturday's game is also an opportunity to donate to "Toys for Tots". Fans who bring a new, unwrapped toy to Saturday's 4:05pm home game will get in free. Please enter through the lobby entrance to donate.

The RMU Athletic Department has partnered with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve on this annual community outreach program every year since 2008 collecting hundreds of toys for area youths thanks to the generosity of many Colonial fans. Collection bins on campus are located in Joe Walton Stadium (first floor main lobby), Wheatley Center (main lobby), Massey Hall (main lobby), Jefferson Center (RMU Center for Veterans and Military Families), Island Sports Center (main lobby), Nicholson Center (across from Admissions Office) and Hale Center (inside third floor doors facing Franklin Center). Toys can be donated at these other Robert Morris home games for free admission:
