In 138 career games at RMU, Howard concluded her career as the program's all-time leading scorer with 181 points on 79 goals and 102 assists. She helped lead the Colonials to 24 wins as a freshman during the 2013-14 season and capped her career by leading RMU to consecutive 20-win seasons in 2016-17 and 2017-18. The Colonials appeared in their first NCAA Tournament in 2017 and posted an overall record of 24-5-6 (.771) as Howard led the squad in scoring with 50 points on 20 goals and 30 assists, becoming the program's first-ever 50-point single-season scorer. A two-time College Hockey America (CHA) scoring champion (2017, 2018), Howard became the first student-athlete to be named an American Hockey Coaches Association All-American in program history, earning second team honors in 2018. She was also named to the 2018 All-USCHO (United States College Hockey Online) Third Team and theĀ Pittsburgh Post-Gazette Dapper Dan Sportswomen of the Year.
