A native of Pittsburgh, Pa., Kuziel scored 920 points for Robert Morris when it competed at the junior college level over the course of the 1964-65 and 1965-66 seasons. He owned the Colonial single-season record for shooting percentage (59 percent in 1965-66) and tied for the single-game record with 25 rebounds.
