In her four years as a member of the RMU women's tennis program, Lockhart combined for 110 victories on the court, including 48 wins in singles and 62 in doubles play, a career record. She helped lead the Colonials to their lone Northeast Conference championship in 1996 by teaming with Melissa Thomas to claim the Doubles Flight "A" Championship, as the duo recorded a record of 36-5 during the tournament, a winning percentage of .878 that ranks fifth in the NEC record book. Lockhart's best season came as a freshman in 1993-94, when she posted a record of 16-7 (.696) in singles action and a mark of 17-8 (.680) in doubles play. She also won 17 doubles matches in both 1994-95 and 1995-96, which stands as the RMU single-season school mark.
