McCann helped guide Robert Morris to a pair of Northeast Conference Tournament championships (1992, 1993) as an outside hitter. A native of Richfield, Ohio, she was named to the All-NEC First Team in both 1993 and 1994 and was also a member of the 1992 NEC All-Tournament Team. In the RMU volleyball career record book, McCann ranks third in games (478), fifth in digs (1,539) and ninth in kills (967). McCann’s 526 digs during the 1992 campaign stood as the single-season record for 11 years until being broken in 2003.
