The 2008 veteran's choice to be inducted into the RMU Athletic Hall of Fame, Snyder won the Northeast Conference individual golf championship in 1986 with a score of 76. A four-year starter from 1983 to 1986, Snyder earned the ECAC Golf Medalist Award at Emerson Country Club in Emerson, N.J., in 1986, and was also honored with the President's Award for Outstanding Male Athlete at the RMU All-Sports Banquet. In 1987 Snyder earned the Scholar-Athlete Award for academic excellence and outstanding athletic achievement. He is a native of Moon Township, Pa.
