Monsac played two full seasons at Robert Morris after transferring from Arizona Western Junior College and helped spearhead the resurgence of the program. A native of Villa Maria in the Dominican Republic, Monsac scored 1,177 points and grabbed 689 rebounds during her career, totals that 12th and sixth, respectively, all-time at Robert Morris. Early in the 2005-06 season, Monsac suffered a season-ending injury but returned in 2006-07 and averaged 16.2 points and 9.6 rebounds per game while shooting 51.4 percent from the floor and leading the Colonials with 90 steals. For those efforts she was named to the 2007 All-Northeast Conference Second team. That season RMU grabbed a share of the 2007 NEC regular-season title, and Robert Morris went on to win the NEC Tournament championship as well as the program's first bid to the NCAA Tournament.
