A four-year starter at goalkeeper, Bolaji posted a career goals against average of 1.17, which stands as the school record, while also owning the Robert Morris career mark for shutouts with 17. Bolaji ranks second in save percentage (.823), fourth in saves (367), fifth in saves per game (5.65) and wins (21). As a freshman in 2009, Bolaji posted an .851 save percentage and a 0.91 goals against average. In 2010 he recorded six shutouts while finishing with a 1.02 goals against average, becoming the only goalkeeper in school history to post two of the top five marks in single-season history for goals against average. In 2010, Bolaji was named to the All-NEC Second Team. Academically, he was named to the 2010 District 2 ESPN Academic All-America Team and 2010 National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Men's Division I All-North Atlantic Region Third Team.
