During his four years on the active roster with the Colonials, Jones, a native of Philadelphia, Pa., led Robert Morris to an overall record of 91-50 (.645), as he is part of the most successful class in program history. He owns RMU career records for games played (135), starts (125), consecutive games played (121), free throws (495) and free-throw attempts (688). He became the ninth player in Northeast Conference history, including the first from Robert Morris, to eclipse career totals of 1,500 points and 500 assists, finishing second all-time program history in assists (551) and fifth in points (1,588). A two-time All-NEC First Team selection (2012, 2013), Jones helped lead the Colonials to three postseason appearances in four years, including the 2010 NCAA Tournament, the 2012 CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament (CIT) and the 2013 National Invitation Tournament (NIT). In the 2013 NIT, he contributed eight points and five assists in a 59-57 win over Kentucky in front of 3,444 fans at the Charles L. Sewall Center, arguably the biggest win in school history.
