During his four years with the Colonials, Lynch helped RMU earn five championships, including two Three Rivers Classic Confluence Cups (2013, 2015), two Atlantic Hockey regular-season championships (2015, 2016) and the 2014 Atlantic Hockey Tournament title. He became the program's all-time leading scorer his senior season in 2015-16 with 156 career points thanks to 67 goals and 89 assists. That same year, Lynch established an NCAA record by scoring a short-handed goal in four consecutive games. Thanks to that performance, he owns RMU single-season (8) and career (14) marks for short-handed tallies. In 2015-16, Lynch established a new single-season record for points with 55, compiling 25 goals and 30 assists. For those efforts he was named the 2016 Atlantic Hockey Player of the Year.
