Garnering the Higher Images RMU Male Student-Athlete of the Week for Oct. 15, 2014, is senior forward Scott Jacklin of the hockey team. In helping the Colonials start the 2014-15 campaign with a two-game sweep of Lake Superior State last weekend at the RMU Island Sports Center, Jacklin scored a pair of goals on seven shots. Jacklin tallied the first marker for Robert Morris on the season when he scored at the 11:12 mark of the first period to give the Colonials an early 1-0 advantage as RMU earned a 3-1 win, Oct. 10, over the Lakers in the season opener. The next night, Jacklin again lit the lamp to open the scoring, as his power-play goal at 18:46 of the second period gave the Colonials a 1-0 lead as Robert Morris posted a 3-0 victory, Oct. 11, to complete the sweep.
