To say it was a good week for Zac Lynch would be an understatement. The junior forward helped the RMU hockey team extend its winning streak to a program-best six games with a sweep at Air Force last weekend by scoring three goals and registering three assists for six points. Thanks to his performance, Lynch, a native of Pittsburgh, Pa., was selected as the Atlantic Hockey Conference (AHC) Travel Team USA Player of the Week (2/3/15). Lynch scored a goal and assisted on another in a 5-4 victory to open the series @ Air Force. In the second game at Cadet Ice Arena, Lynch posted his third career four-point game in a 5-2 win with a pair of goals and two assists. Earlier today, Lynch was also selected as the AHC Player of the Month after finishing with 17 points (eight goals, nine assists) in 10 games in helping lead RMU to a record of 7-2-1 during the month of January. He also earns the Higher Images RMU Male Student-Athlete of the Week for Feb. 4, 2015, his second of the 2014-15 campaign.Â
