Garnering her first Higher Images RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week honor of the 2014-15 winter campaign is senior Bethany Ledford of the track & field team. At the Akron Invitational this past weekend, Ledford tied for second in the pole vault with a season-best mark of 3.67 meters (12’0.50”). The performance puts her atop the Northeast Conference leaderboard and marks the fourth time this season Ledford has surpassed the ECAC qualifying mark. For her efforts, Ledford was selected as the NEC Field Athlete of the Week Tuesday (2/10/15). She is a native of Huntingdon, Pa.
