Taking home his second consecutive Higher Images RMU Male Student-Athlete of the Week is junior guard Rodney Pryor of the basketball team. In a pair of home wins last week at the Charles L. Sewall Center, Pryor averaged 23.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists while shooting 53.3 percent (16-for-30) from the field, including 56.3 percent (9-for-16) from beyond the arc, and 85.7 percent (6-for-7) at the free-throw line. Pryor scored a game-high 25 points in a 91-59 victory over Wagner (2/26/15) while also adding five rebounds, a career-high six assists and two steals. Two days later in a 71-70 overtime win over Saint Francis U. (2/28/15), Pryor again paced the Colonials with 22 points. He scored 16 in the second half and overtime as RMU erased a 12-point deficit to earn the victory. For his efforts, Pryor was named the final Northeast Conference Player of the Week of the 2014-15 regular season Monday, March 2. The next day he was named to the 2015 All-NEC Second Team.
