Junior guard Rodney Pryor of the men’s basketball team garners the Higher Images RMU Male Student-Athlete of the Week honor for March 25, 2015, marking his fourth honor in the last five weeks. In two games of the 2015 NCAA Tournament, Pryor, a native of Evanston, Ill., averaged 21.5 points and 4.0 rebounds while shooting 50 percent (18-for-36) from the field, including 45.5 percent (5-for-11) from beyond the arc. Pryor scored 20 points in an 81-77 victory over North Florida (3/18/15) in the NCAA First Four, helping the Colonials earn their first win in the NCAA Tournament since 1983. Two nights later Pryor paced Robert Morris against No. 1 seed Duke (3/20/15) with 23 points while also grabbing five rebounds. He finished 10-for-19 shooting from the field against the Blue Devils, including 3-of-6 from beyond the arc. Pryor led the Colonials in scoring in 2014-15 at 15.6 points per game and also averaged 4.7 caroms per contest.
