Earning the Higher Images RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week accolade for April 8, 2015, is senior Aubree Ray of the track & field team. A native of Middletown, Pa., Ray claimed the individual title in the discus at the Colonial Relays this past weekend on the campus of the College of William & Mary. Ray recorded a mark of 45.69 meters (149’11”) to win the championship, marking the third consecutive year she has finished first in the discus at the Colonial Relays. She also won the discus title in 2013 with a mark of 45.27 meters (148’6”) and last year with a tally of 47.32 meters (155’3”). In each of the first three meets of the 2015 outdoor season for Robert Morris, Ray has eclipsed the ECAC qualifying mark in the discus.
