For the second time in three weeks, senior Santiago Mejia of the golf team is named the Higher Images RMU Male Student-Athlete of the Week. It also marks the third consecutive week a member of the golf squad garners the accolade. Mejia was at the forefront of the most successful tournament in school history earlier this week at the Saint Francis University Red Flash Invitational, which was played at Sunnehanna Country Club in Johnstown, Pa. One of four Colonials to finish in the top 10, Mejia finished with a three-day total of 214, four strokes over par. He finished second individually, and his score marked the third lowest in a 54-hole tournament in program history. Mejia, a native of Bogota, Columbia, saved his best for last, carding a 70 after opening tourney with back-to-back scores of 72. As a team, Robert Morris finished with an 873, the best tournament team score in school history.Â
