Taking home the second consecutive Giant Eagle RMU Male Student-Athlete of the Week honor for the football squad is redshirt senior linebacker Mike Stojkovic. In a 21-14 overtime setback @ No. 17 Youngstown State (9/12), Stojkovic recorded 11 tackles, including one and-a-half tackles for a loss, a forced fumble and a pass breakup. His forced fumble led directly to RMU’s first score of the game and gave the Colonials an early 7-0 advantage. It also marks the second straight week Stojkovic, a native of Katy, Texas, reached double-figures in takedowns. For his efforts, Stojkovic was named the Northeast Conference Defensive Player of the Week (9/14). Through two games, Stojkovic owns 24 tackles, including 11 solo stops, and a pair of forced fumbles.
