Senior Garrett Browning of the golf squad earns the Giant Eagle RMU Male Student-Athlete of the Week accolade for Sept. 23, 2015, after a stellar performance for the Colonials at the 27th annual Leo Keenan Invitational, which was hosted by St. Bonaventure.  Browning, a native of Imperial, Pa., took home medalist honors at Bartlett Country Club in Olean, N.Y., after firing a two-day score of 137. He opened the tourney, Sept. 20, with a two-under par 68 and posted a 69, Sept. 21, to earn the fourth victory of his career. Thanks to the individual title, Browning tied the RMU career record that was originally established by former Colonial C.G. Mercatoris (2007-11). Browning’s 137 also tied an RMU school record for 36 holes. Through the first two tournaments of the 2015 fall season, Browning has posted an average round score of 70 and on his career owns a career average of 75.9 strokes per round.
