Senior Kristin Thompson of the volleyball squad garners the Giant Eagle RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week for Sept. 30, 2015, after helping lead the Colonials to victory in their 2015 Northeast Conference opener @ Saint Francis U. (9/26). In a 3-1 victory over the Red Flash, Thompson finished with 16 kills against just three errors in 28 attempts for an attack percentage of .464. She also added five digs and four blocks. She also added six kills and a pair of blocks @ Youngstown State (9/29) in a rare midweek non-conference matchup. On the 2015 campaign, Thompson leads Robert Morris in attack percentage (.315) while ranking second for the Colonials in kills (101) and blocks (29).
