The fourth different member of the football team to earn the Giant Eagle RMU Male Student-Athlete of the Week honor this fall is junior kicker Connor Shennan, who is bestowed the accolade for Oct. 7, 2015. Shennan helped lift the Colonials to a 9-6 (10/3) victory @ Wagner (10/3) in their 2015 Northeast Conference opener with a 19-yard field goal with 24 seconds to play and cap off a perfect 3-for-3 day in field goals. Shennan, a native of Plymouth, Mich., also connected from 30 and 36 yards to help provide all the scoring on the afternoon for Robert Morris. Thanks to his performance against the Seahawks, Shennan was selected as the NEC Special Teams Player of the Week (10/5) for the second consecutive week. On the 2015 season, Shennan leads the Colonials and ranks seventh in the NEC in scoring with 26 points, as he is 5-for-6 in field goal attempts and 11-for-11 in extra points.
