The third different member of the soccer team to be honored as the Giant Eagle RMU Male Student-Athlete of the Week is freshman Keane McIvor, who garners the accolade for Oct. 14, 2015. A native of Diego Martin, Trinidad & Tobago, the freshman scored a goal and added an assist in a 3-0 win over Sacred Heart (10/9) in the 2015 Northeast Conference opener for both teams at the North Athletic Complex. McIvor used a corner kick to help set up the second goal of the game, as Jake Cooper was able to score on a header. In the 84th minute McIvor helped seal the victory with his second goal of the season. So far this season, McIvor owns seven points in six games thanks to a pair of goals and three assists.
