Taking home the Giant Eagle RMU Male Student-Athlete of the Week nod for Oct. 28, 2015, is senior forward Greg Gibson of the hockey team. In a pair of games last weekend at Atlantic Hockey Conference foe Niagara, Gibson scored five goals in helping the Colonials earn a tie and post a victory. In a 3-3 deadlock in the opening game of the series, Oct. 23, Gibson scored a pair of goals. He registered a hat trick the following night in helping Robert Morris jump out to a 6-0 lead en route to an 8-2 win. For his efforts, Gibson, a native of Burlington, Ontario, was named the AHC Player of the Week (10/27). Through the first four games of the 2015-16 campaign, Gibson leads the Colonials in both goals (6) and points (8). Â
