Garnering the Giant Eagle RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week for Nov. 11, 2015, is sophomore setter Brianna Frakes of the volleyball team. Frakes, a native of Clarkston, Mich., helped lead the Colonials to a pair of Northeast Conference road victories last weekend, averaging 11.7 assists per set. In a 3-2 victory @ Sacred Heart (11/7), Frakes dished out a career-high 51 assists. The next day in a 3-1 victory @ Fairleigh Dickinson (11/8), Frakes bettered her performance from against the Pioneers by recording 54 helpers. She also finished with 14 digs against the Knights to post her fourth double-double of the year. For her efforts, Frakes was named the NEC Player of the Week (11/9). On the 2015 campaign, Frakes owns 416 assists, an average of 8.49 per set.
