Senior Kristin Thompson of the volleyball team takes home the Giant Eagle RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week accolade for Nov. 18, 2015. In home victories over Bryant (11/14) and Central Connecticut (11/15) at the Charles L. Sewall Center that wrapped up the regular season for the Colonials, Thompson recorded 30 kills, posted a .444 attack percentage and added 11 blocks. She finished with 13 kills and a .379 attack percentage in the win over the Bulldogs, then chipped in 17 kills while posting a .500 attack percentage and four blocks the next afternoon against the Blue Devils. For her efforts, Thompson, a native of Monroe, Ohio, was named the Northeast Conference Player of the Week (11/16). She currently leads the NEC in attack percentage (.347) and is hitting .389 against conference foes.Â
