Redshirt sophomore forward Brittany Howard of the ice hockey team garners the Giant Eagle RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week nod for Dec. 16, 2015. In helping lead the Colonials to a win and a tie in two games last weeked @ Lindenwood, Howard scored two goals and registered two assists. In a 3-3 tie Saturday, Dec. 12, Howard scored one of the three goals for Robert Morris. The next afternoon in a 4-1 win, Howard, a native of St. Thomas, Ontario, finished with a goal and two assists. For her efforts, Howard was named the College Hockey America (CHA) Player of the Week (12/15/15). On the 2015-16 campaign, Howard leads the Colonials in goals (10), assists (16) and points (26), and Robert Morris owns a record of 9-2-4 (.733) when she records a point.Â
