Garnering the Giant Eagle RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week nod for Jan. 27, 2016, is senior Olivia Loy of the track & field team. At the YSU Invitational (1/22) last weekend in Youngstown, Ohio, Loy earned silver in the pole vault with a leap of 3.70 meters (12’1.50”). The leap helped her qualify for the ECAC Championships in the event for the fourth straight year and also ranks fifth in school history. For her efforts, Loy, a native of Lemoyne, Pa., was named the Northeast Conference Field Athlete of the Week (1/25/15).
