Earning her third Giant Eagle RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week honor of the 2015-16 campaign is junior guard Anna Niki Stamolamprou. In a pair of key Northeast Conference victories at the Charles L. Sewall Center last week, Stamolamprou averaged 17.5 points, 8.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists while shooting 44 percent (11-for-25) from the field, including 57.1 percent (4-for-7) from deep, and 90 percent (9-for-10) at the free-throw line. In a 55-53 victory over Bryant (2/6/16), Stamolamprou registered a double-double thanks to 15 points and 10 rebounds. Two nights later she paced Robert Morris in a 72-55 win over Central Connecticut (2/8/16) with 20 points while grabbing seven boards. For her efforts, Stamolamprou was named the NEC Player of the Week. In 23 games this season, all as a member of the starting lineup, Stamolamprou leads the Colonials in scoring (14.1 ppg), three-pointers (53), assists (75) and steals (33).
