Senior Olivia Loy of the track & field team is bestowed the Giant Eagle RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week for April 27, 2016. It marks the second honor of the year for Loy, who also garnered the accolade Jan. 27, 2016. At the James Madison Invitational last weekend, Loy, a native of Lemoyne, Pa., claimed gold in the pole vault thanks to a leap of 3.65 meters (11’11.75”). The mark established a personal record for Loy and is also the top mark in the Northeast Conference this season. Her distance also is tied for fifth in the Robert Morris outdoor track & field record book.
