Garnering the inaugural Giant Eagle RMU Male Student-Athlete of the Week for the 2016-17 season is junior forward Rafael Bruzual of the soccer team. In a 4-2 setback to Cleveland State (8/28) at the North Athletic Complex, Bruzual found the back of the net twice against the Vikings. His first tally of the contest gave the Colonials the first goal of the game as well as a 1-0 lead at halftime. Bruzual scored again at 64:56 to push RMU’s advantage to 2-0. Thanks to his pair of goals, Bruzual, a native of Puerto Ordaz, Venezuela, has already scored as many goals this season as he did in 12 games last year.
