Garnering her second consecutive Giant Eagle RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week nod to open the 2016 season is senior outside hitter Arden Fisher of the volleyball team. In helping lead the Colonials to a perfect 3-0 record at the RMU Invitational this past weekend at the Charles L. Sewall Center, Fisher averaged 3.17 kills and 5.75 digs per set while also finishing with six block assists. She recorded double-doubles in each contest, finishing with 13 kills and 20 digs in a 3-0 sweep of Buffalo (9/2), 12 kills and 20 digs in a 3-1 victory over Coppin State (9/3) and 13 kills and 29 digs in a 3-2 win over Bucknell (9/3). For her efforts, Fisher was selected as the Molten / Northeast Conference Player of the Week (9/6). Through her first six matches of the 2016 campaign, Fisher, a native of Oakmont, Pa., leads Robert Morris in both kills (83) and digs (154). She leads NCAA Division I in digs per set (6.16).
