Sophomore wide receiver Warren Robinson of the football team is the recipient of the Giant Eagle RMU Male Student-Athlete of the Week for Sept. 28, 2016, after helping lead the Colonials to a 21-19 win over Malone (9/24) at Joe Walton Stadium. In the victory, Robinson, a native of Delray Beach, Fla., scored a pair of touchdowns and established an RMU single-game school record with 123 punt return yards. Robinson returned a punt 81 yards for a touchdown at the 12:51 mark of the third quarter that helped Robert Morris open up a 21-6 advantage. It marks the second punt return for a score in Robinson’s career, and his 123 punt return yards eclipsed the old record of 112 set by former wide receiver Mario Hines (2004-07) in a 21-0 win over Rowan (9/23/06).Â
