Sophomore Daniel Franco Saad of the golf team is the recipient of the Giant Eagle RMU Male Student-Athlete of the Week for Sept. 28, 2016. At the NKU Fall Classic in Batavia, Ohio, Franco Saad finished as the top performer for the Colonials with a three-round total of 219, good enough to finish in a tie for 12th. He posted a 73 in the final round Monday thanks to a pair of birdies on the fourth and 15th holes. In the first day of the tournament at Elks Run Golf Club Sunday, Franco Saad carded a 74 and a 72. Franco Saad is a native of Bogota, Colombia.
