Tabbed as the Giant Eagle RMU Male Student-Athlete of the Week for Oct. 12, 2016, is junior forward Brady Ferguson of the hockey squad. Ferguson, a native of Lewisville, Texas, compiled seven points in a season-opening split on the road at RIT. He scored four goals and three assists in the split, including six points in a 6-5 win in the second game of the series. In the win, Ferguson recorded his first career hat trick, including the game-winning goal in the third period. The six points is an RMU single-game school record.
