Named the Giant Eagle RMU Male Student-Athlete of the Week for Oct. 26, 2016, is junior linebacker Joseph Uhatafe of the football team. In a 16-10 setback @ Sacred Heart (10/22), Uhatafe recorded a game-high 14 tackles. It marked a career high for the native of St. Petersburg, Fla., as well as the most by a member of the Colonials in 2016. Uhatafe assisted on a tackle on the first play of scrimmage and finished with eight stops in the first half, including five in the second quarter. In eight games this season, Uhatafe ranks third for Robert Morris in tackles with 57, including 19 solo stops. Among his 57 takedowns is one and-a-half sacks. He also owns one pass breakup and two forced fumbles.
