Selected as the Giant Eagle RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week for Nov. 2, 2016, is freshman forward Aneta Ledlova of the hockey team. In a sweep of Mercyhurst at the RMU Island Sports Center last weekend, Ledlova finished with a goal and two assists. She scored her first collegiate goal in a 2-1 victory to open the series, Oct. 28, then assisted on both goals in another 2-1 win over the Lakers, Oct. 29. Ledlova, a native of Kadan, Czech Republic, has compiled four points through RMU’s first 10 games on a goal and three assists. For her efforts in the sweep of Mercyhurst, Ledlova was named the College Hockey America (CHA) Rookie of the Week (10/31).
