A special season wrapup of the Giant Eagle RMU Student-Athlete of the Week highlights the season accomplishments of the 2016 fall season, as senior outside hitter Arden Fisher garners the accolade for Nov. 23, 2016. Fisher, a native of Oakmont, Pa., was named to the 2016 All-Northeast Conference First Team Friday, Nov. 18. She became the third student-athlete in program history to earn All-NEC honors four times, joining former Colonials Katie Noble (1999-2002) and Amanda Graham (2007-10). In 2016, Fisher led Robert Morris in both kills (356) and digs (598) and became the first player in school history to eclipse career totals of 1,000 kills and 1,500 digs. She amassed 1,852 digs and 1,246 kills, totals that rank second and fifth all-time, respectively, in school history. Fisher finished her senior season in 2016 ranked 10th in NCAA Division I in digs per set (5.34). She was a three-time Giant Eagle RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week in 2016 and was bestowed the honor four times throughout her career.
