Earning his second straight Giant Eagle RMU Male Student-Athlete of the Week is sophomore guard Isaiah Still of the basketball team. In two games last week, Still averaged 19.5 points while shooting 48.1 percent (13-for-27) from the field, including 53.8 percent (7-for-13) from beyond the arc, and 75 percent (6-for-8) at the free-throw line. Still paced the Colonials @ Lehigh (12/3/16) by scoring a game-high 17 points, and three days later in a 64-60 victory over Duquesne (12/6/16) at PPG Paints Arena again took home game-high honors in scoring with 22 points. His layup with 15.3 seconds to play proved to be the difference in the win over the Dukes, and he came up huge on the defensive end, blocking a shot from Duquesne’s Emile Blackman to help preserve the win. Still, a native of Rahway, N.J., has eclipsed the 20-point plateau three times this season and leads Robert Morris in scoring at 16.1 points per game.Â
