Earning her fourth Giant Eagle RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week nod of the 2016-17 campaign is redshirt junior forward Brittany Howard of the hockey team. In a split with Lindenwood at the RMU Island Sports Center last weekend, Howard registered a goal and two assists and in the process extended her point streak to a career-high 12 games. Thanks to her two helpers in a 5-2 victory that helped the Colonials earn the split, Howard pushed her career total to 72, a Robert Morris school record. Howard, a native of St. Thomas, Ontario, leads the Colonials in scoring with 38 points courtesy of 14 goals and 24 assists. She ranks second in NCAA Division I in points and points per game (1.73).
