Selected as the Giant Eagle RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week for Sept. 20, 2017, is freshman outside hitter Alyson Londot. In the Robert Morris Invitational at the Charles L. Sewall Center this past weekend, Londot compiled 27 kills, 17 digs and four blocks while posting an attack percentage of .224. In five sets against Penn (9/15), Londot, a native of Utica, Ohio, posted a double-double with 13 kills and 10 digs while hitting .312. In a 3-0 sweep of Rutgers in the final NCAA Division I event at the Chuck, Londot tied for team-high honors with 11 kills and also added six digs and four block assists. For her efforts, Londot was named to the 2017 RMU Invitational All-Tournament Team. On the 2017 campaign, Londot ranks second for the Colonials in kills (150) while ranking fourth in digs (121).
