Junior wide receiver Warren Robinson, a native of Delray Beach, Fla., has been tabbed the Giant Eagle RMU Male Student-Athlete of the Week for Sept. 20, 2017. In a 23-0 victory over VMI (9/16) at Joe Walton Stadium as part of Homecoming festivities at the university, Robinson averaged 24.3 yards on three punt returns, posting three returns for 73 yards. His longest return of the afternoon, a 38-yard return, helped give the Colonials short field en route to a touchdown. He also finished with a team-high five receptions for 73 yards in the win over the Keydets. Thanks to his efforts against VMI, Robinson was named the Northeast Conference (NEC) Special Teams Player of the Week (9/18). Through three games of the 2017 season, Robinson owns six catches for 87 yards as well as four punt returns for 69 yards, an average of 17.2 yards per return. Â
