Sophomore Max Palmer of the golf team is the recipient of the Giant Eagle RMU Male Student-Athlete of the Week for Sept. 27, 2017. At the Northern Kentucky Fall Classic in Batavia, Ohio, last weekend, Palmer finished in a tie for second individually with Patrick Allgeier of Butler with a three-round score of 213. In the third and final round of the tournament, Palmer, a native of Novi, Mich., and the reigning Northeast Conference Rookie of the Year, carded a career low round of 68 (-3). He produced four birdies and 13 pars on the afternoon.
