Earning his second Giant Eagle RMU Male Student-Athlete of the Week honor of the 2017 fall season is senior midfielder Bayley Winkel of the soccer team. In the non-conference finale, Winkel gave the Colonials a 2-1 victory over Howard (10/1) at the North Athletic Complex by scoring at the 86:47 mark of the contest to procure the come-from-behind win. Corey McCurdy and Keane McIvor set up Winkel, a native of Whitby, Ontario, who headed home the game-winning tally. On the 2017 campaign, Winkel ranks second in the Northeast Conference in both points (15) and points per game (1.50) courtesy of seven goals and an assist.
