Tabbed the Giant Eagle RMU Female Student-Athlete of the Week for Oct. 25, 2017, is freshman goalkeeper of the soccer team. She helped lead the Colonials to a perfect 2-0 weekend by allowing just one goal and recording 15 saves in a pair of victories at the North Athletic Complex. In a 2-1 victory over Fairleigh Dickinson (10/20), Bruckner, a native of Mechanicsburg, Pa., held the highest scoring offense in the Northeast Conference to just one goal and tied a career high with eight saves. Two days later Bruckner recorded seven saves and posted her second clean sheet of the 2017 campaign in a 4-0 win over Mount St. Mary’s (10/22). For her efforts, Bruckner was tabbed both the NEC Co-Defensive Player of the Week and NEC Rookie of the Week (10/23). In 15 games, including 12 starts, Bruckner has recorded a 1.52 goals against average and a .777 save percentage.
