Senior midfielder Keane McIvor of the soccer team has been garnered the Giant Eagle RMU Male Student-Athlete of the Week for Nov. 1, 2017. McIvor, a native of Diego Martin, Trinidad & Tobago, scored the lone goal in a 1-0 overtime victory over Sacred Heart (10/29) on Senior Day at the North Athletic Complex. The Colonials and Pioneers played a scoreless 90 minutes before heading to overtime, where McIvor scored his second goal of the season on a penalty kick at 91:51. The win kept a Northeast Conference Tournament berth for Robert Morris alive. In 15 games in 2017, McIvor ranks second for the Colonials in scoring with 12 points thanks to two goals and a team-high eight assists.
