Earning one of two Giant Eagle RMU Male Student-Athlete of the Week honors form the hockey squad for Dec. 20, 2017, the final accolade of the 2017 calendar year, is senior forward Brady Ferguson of the hockey team. In a home-and-home sweep of Mercyhurst, Ferguson, a native of Carrollton, Texas, finished seven points in the two wins. He scored two goals and notched five assists and in the process moved into third place all-time for career points at Robert Morris. He posted two goals and two assists in a 5-2 win to open the series at Colonials Arena at the RMU Island Sports Center. The next afternoon in Erie, Pa., Ferguson posted three assists in a 5-3 victory. For his efforts, Ferguson was selected as the Atlantic Hockey Player of the Week as well as the NCAA’s #1 Star of the Week. In 19 games, Ferguson leads the Colonials in scoring with 23 points courtesy of 10 goals and 13 helpers.
